The BSN program has an early acceptance option for highly qualified high school seniors who demonstrate academic success and readiness for the study of nursing. Students participating in the early acceptance program are guaranteed admission to the upper division professional component of the nursing curriculum when they meet the following requirements. Admission is competitive and selective.  

Requirements:

1. Admitted to the University of Montevallo.

2. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.75 based on 4.0 scale.

3. Submit an ACT score of at least 22 composite (Science section required; Superscore is not accepted). 

4. Submit 2 letters of recommendation to include the following information: a) Applicant's leadership qualities, b) Ability to care for diverse populations, and C) Readiness to assume personal accountability for own learning.
